Thinning scissors - from Solingen and Tomishi®

Thinning scissors have teeth on both blades. Due to the double-sided teeth, approx. 30% of the hair is cut off and around two thirds of the hair remains. Since all the hair is never cut away at once, thinning scissors are also known as thinning scissors.

Basically, thinning is an excellent technique for thinning out the underhair and thus giving the hair more support, fullness and overall volume. Individual parts can also be specifically emphasized using this technique.
